Eric ChinPrincipal Manager, SkillsFuture SingaporeMr Eric Chin holds the appointment of Principal Manager in the Enterprise Engagement Office at SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG), a statutory board under the Singapore Ministry of Education. SSG drives the implementation of the national SkillsFuture movement, which has the aim of enhancing the employability and competitiveness of Singapore’s workforce. In his current role, he supports SSG’s engagement efforts with enterprises to raise their awareness and adoption of SkillsFuture initiatives.
Eric previously served in SSG’s Strategic Planning Division which oversees the alignment of organisational policies and strategies with the overall national direction on skills development. Prior to joining SSG, he also served in the Ministry of Home Affairs in the area of policy and operations. -
Ho Yew WeeDirector, Local Enterprise Office, Advanced Manufacturing & Precision Engineering, Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR)
Mr Ho Yew Wee is Director of Advanced Manufacturing and Precision and Engineering in Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), overseeing the technology development for the manufacturing sectors in Singapore, catalysing the adoption of innovations and technologies in the industry through collaborations and partnerships. Yew Wee joined A*STAR in 2009 after 10 years in product and program management in semiconductors industry. He has served in various roles in A*STAR that had helped to forge industry research partnerships across various industry sectors, established public-private joint laboratories and set up national research platforms.

Irshathbanu is part of the Partnerships and Outreach team in the Enterprise Programmes Division at Workforce Singapore. She works on the outreach of WSG’s programmes to enterprises through the various touch points. In this session, she will be sharing the details of WSG programmes and how you can seek from WSG to embark on workforce transformation to achieve productivity gains and cope with manpower issues and hiring and boosting local workforce.

Low Jin WeiIP Strategist, Client Lead IPOS International (subsidiary of IPOS)
Jin Wei has over a decade of experience in advising companies on intellectual property matters at the Intellectual Property Office of Singapore (IPOS). A believer in intangible assets as a driver of business growth, she has delivered strategic IP management solutions to diverse industries including telecommunications, medical technology, information technology and retail.
Jin Wei was involved in impact-driven IPOS initiatives which helped shape Singapore’s innovation ecosystem such as the pioneer IP Management programmes for government agencies and enterprises to further business growth with IP. She had also served in the frontlines at IPOS Service Centre, setting up operations to facilitate IP rights registration. Jin Wei is a Registered Management Consultant (RMC), holds an Honours degree in Biological Sciences from Nanyang Technological University and has a Graduate Diploma from Singapore Management University in Communication Management and Innovation. She also holds a master’s in intellectual property and innovation management from the Singapore University of Social Sciences. -
Seng Woei YuanDeputy Director, SWITCH, Enterprise Singapore
Woei Yuan is currently Deputy Director at the SWITCH Programme Office, Enterprise Singapore. He oversees the planning and execution of SWITCH, which is among the largest innovation and technology events in Asia.
Prior to his role at Enterprise Singapore, Woei Yuan served in corporate communications and marketing roles in both private and public organisations, including ST Kinetics and JTC.
Woei Yuan began his professional career as the co-owner of a Singapore-based music record label, Aging Youth, and oversaw artiste management, events organisation and records distribution.
Woei Yuan is married with two children.

Yick Loong joined the rebranded YRSG as Assistant Director (Partnership) and is responsible for developing and reviewing engagement and employment assistance strategies. Before taking on this role, he worked at the Ministry of Home Affairs in the area of planning. Yick Loong is passionate about inclusivity in the society and workplace, and, galvanizing the community to effect positive change.

Terence SeahDeputy Director (Business and Economics), Competition & Consumer Commission of Singapore (CCCS)
Terence has led multiple investigations and cases over the years in a broad spectrum of sectors including retail, aviation, FMCG, and manufacturing across the three main prohibitions under the Competition Act (Cap. 50B).
Terence joined CCCS in 2009 shortly after graduating with a B. Soc. Sci. (Honours) from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Economics. Terence completed a PG Dip. in EU Competition Law from King’s College London in 2013 and more recently completed his Economics MSc. at the University of Warwick.
